Welcome to an occasional series of blog posts where I share a few details about a new product or part of my business that I’m particularly excited about.
This week, the Sunday Showcase starts with my drawstring project bag with outside pockets.
The description says it all really – it is a modification of the traditional drawstring bag, but with six pockets on the outside of the bag, three on each side, useful for holding all those essential extras.
I have been making larger knitting bags with outside pockets for a few years now, but it occurred to me that it might be useful to have a smaller, more portable, single project bag with the same feature, and so this bag design was born!
The latest ones that I have made feature some lovely typewriter-themed fabric.
The bag is fully lined and has a flat bottom. It is sturdy and will stand up by itself and not flop over. And it is closed with a drawstring to keep your project safe.
It is approximately 9 inches (23 cm) wide, 10 inches (26 cm) tall and has a base depth of 4 inches (10cm). The outside pockets are 5 inches (13cm) deep. It will accommodate DPNs or circular needles with ease, making it the perfect size for a single skein project.
And they are all handmade by me!
If you want to get your hands on one, there are a limited number available in the GardeningWitch Design’s ETSY shop.
Stay tuned for more Sunday Showcase features …
